Claire, our tester, was impressed with the packaging. It was easy to open and clean. She found it to be one of the most simple and quick pieces of baby equipment to set up. She tested it on some rough terrain and was impressed with its performance.

Seats

The majority of 3 wheel double buggies are initially single pushchairs, but some can be converted to take a second seat or carrycot by converting adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). You'll also find that some models let you add a ride-on board for older children who want to walk but still need some assistance.

For a lightweight option that's great for city streets, check out the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to maneuver and has a large basket that is full of storage. It can be used for twins beginning at birth and accepts two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. The seats are required to be facing forwards, and there's no room for a shopping bag under and you'll need a sidepack to do that.

Mountain Buggy Duet will be the best choice when you love off-roading. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It is easier to get through narrow doors, on public transport and to climb up and over kerbs. The adjustable handlebar comes with an additional handbrake for security and safety.

Suspension

This will provide you with more stability and make it less likely that your children will tip or flip over.

It can also accommodate an infant car seat or carrycot, allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds and it future proofs your wallet since you don't need to buy a new buggy right away.
