Great Canadian Entertainment starts this week with interesting news, as the company's Pickering Casino Resort has now opened its hotel. The resort opened in the summer of 2021, and will now be complemented by a new 275-room Pickering Casino Resort Hotel. Millions of hospitality destinations are currently operating and accepting reservations for guests.

As already mentioned, the Pickering Casino Resort started in 2021, and the new hotel within the resort is located east of downtown Toronto. The new entertainment and current hospitality destination spans 96,000 square feet of land, with casino gambling, the Great Canadian Sports Book, some exquisite dining amenities and event centers.

Pickering Casino Resort Hotel offers over 275 premium rooms ranging from 388 square feet to 775 square feet. It also has 33 luxurious and spacious suites with separate living spaces and 22 accessible rooms with thoughtful and convenient adjustments. Customers can now book for as long as they need.

Each room and suite offers a variety of amenities, great city or lake views, free Wi-Fi, amenities such as refrigerators, safes, 55-inch smart TVs, and free parking. The operator has introduced special offers until January 31, 2023, to allow members of the Great Canadian Rewards to receive special discounts for launch.

The hotel is just a short drive from downtown Toronto and is an ideal destination for business and leisure. The hotel offers premium accommodation for up to 2,500 guests and a range of entertainment options for conference and event spaces, catering, top-notch technology and conferences, corporate meetings and resorts.

CGE CEO Matthew Anfinson said the company is committed to delivering the best possible entertainment to the country's destinations and building on experience for its guests. After several delays in launch due to unprecedented conditions, Pickering Casino Resorts finally began operations on July 26, 2021. The game floor boasts more than 2,400 slot machines and 100 live table games. In the fall of 2022, the casino became one of the first Ontario casinos to offer retail sports betting to customers. It became possible after the release of the Great Canadian Sports Book.

However, after the casino opened in the area, Scugog Island First Nation expressed frustration with its gaming facilities. The tribe claimed the new property violated an agreement with Ontario for a limited number of gaming venues in the Greater Toronto area. The country also claims that the province did not hear their previous complaints.
