Best 2 in 1 Pram Stroller
The TAVO Next glides effortlessly over most terrains thanks to its leatherette handle. It's not the lightest stroller we have however it's much more easy to lift and down than our competitors.
The Cybex Gazelle is a gazelle even when filled with groceries and up to three kids. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a second child board or seat to accommodate growing families.
1. TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is a budget-friendly stroller that can fit kids up to 50 pounds. It's extremely spacious, and its seat reclines very easily and lays flat. It's also easy to close and open, and it comes with an XXL canopy that has venting and peek-a-boo windows. In 2021, Nuna gave the TAVO an updated harness that comes with Magnetech Secure Snap, which makes it easy and secure to secure with one hand.
The TAVO is a great option for parents who want to save money. However it's not the ideal choice if you require a bassinet or reversible seat. It can only be oriented one way, and it does not come with any accessories, such as a bassinet stand or rain cover. The MIXX Next is the better choice for those who need more because it can accommodate these accessories.
The TAVO comes with an inbuilt suspension system called Free-flex that allows you to travel anywhere and even transport your child from the car to the curb. The spacious, comfortable seat lets baby lay back and relax or go off to dreamland. Parents will also enjoy the fold-away wheel that folds down small and MagneTech Secure Snap.
The TAVO is very easy to fold and stands upright when folded and can be used to free up spaces like garages, closets or trunks. It's also easy to move and is equipped with a handy storage basket and flip flop-friendly brakes. It connects with the Nuna PIPA series of car seats in a snap without adapters required for a sleek travel set.
2. UPPAbaby Vista v2
The UPPAbaby V2 is one of our top-rated full-size strollers. It is a great choice for families who have children who are growing up as it can be used with a bassinet or toddler car seat or infant seats. This versatile stroller can also take a riding board, turning it into an all-in-one stroller.
The padded seats in this stroller are designed to ensure comfort. The recline is adjustable to four positions and is easy to use. The foot rest is also adjustable to give passengers a more comfortable ride. The canopy is huge, which is a big advantage for parents wanting to protect their kids from the sun. It is rated with SPF 50+ and features a pop-out visor, two mesh peek-a-boo windows and a flap cover.
Another great aspect of the UPPAbaby Vista V2 is that the fabrics are machine washable. This is crucial as it will help extend the life of your buggy to ensure that you can use it for a long time. It is also simpler to clean up messes like spills of juice or food, rather than having to scrub away staining that is difficult to remove.
UPPAbaby's new tires are larger and softer than the old models, which makes for more comfortable riding. They can handle rough terrain and minimize vibrations while rolling through town. The brakes are an uni-directional design and are easy to use. They also come with a small foot pedal that is color-coded and is suitable for all types of footwear.
This stroller is the most expensive one in our review. However, it's worth investing if you are looking for a stroller which will last for a long time. Take a look at the UPPAbaby Vista V2 on Amazon for more information.
3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is a great choice for parents who want an additional stroller that grows with their family. It is a "modular" stroller or "convertible" stroller, and it can be set up in more than 20 ways to accommodate various seat units such as infant car seats, cots, and cradles.
We are awestruck by the fact that the Cybex Gazelle is light and easy to maneuver making it perfect for parents who love to explore. It has a big storage basket as well as a variety of attachments to help parents carry groceries or light shopping. It's a bit more expensive than the other two in one prams, however it's well worth the investment because the quality and functionality are top of the line.
This stroller features a one-pull harness to make secure your child's seat a breeze. It comes with a sun canopy that has XXL removable panels as well as peek-a-boo windows. It also comes with a handy tray for parents to keep drinks, snacks, and phone. The telescopic handlebar can be adjusted to fit the height of parents, and the brake is easy to access which makes it safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used the stroller with two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. She took it on bumpy, uneven and cobbled streets and found the pushchair to be very smooth and easy to maneuver. The large shopping basket and comfortable footrests that are ergonomically designed made her feel comfortable. She also liked the fact that the hood and handlebar fabrics were machine washable, something that's important for parents who are always on the go!
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A simple frame stroller The Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in compatibility and a huge storage bin. It's among the lightest twin strollers on the market. It weighs only 24 lbs. without attachments for infant car seats. It's very light for a double stroller. It is slightly heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide and is simple to use. It snaps together quickly and takes less than 10 minutes to get road-ready. It doesn't have an integrated canopy therefore your children will have to wear their own sunshades in case they need extra coverage from the elements.
In our tests, we found that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that handled well. It's able to navigate most terrains easily, but it has trouble going over grassy areas and gravel. It can be difficult to maneuver over and up 1-inch curbs. We wouldn't recommend taking this stroller off-road or on stairs, but it does offer excellent suspension to reduce bumps for the passengers.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage compartment however, it's hard to access without removing the infant car seats. This is a common issue with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy offers a separate under-seat baby carrier bag that can help address this issue.
Contrary to other top-scoring models the Roo+ does not have self-standing folds or cup holders. It's a small cost to pay for the car storage and seat compatibility, however we'd rather have a stroller with a bit more flexibility. The stroller's versatility when it comes to seating configuration is a huge benefit. Parents can mount their infant car seats in either the opposite direction or in the same direction, depending on their preferences.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored high for its weight and fold size. It's the best value double umbrella stroller in our review. It also scores well on maneuverability, an essential attribute for parents looking for an umbrella stroller that can fit into smaller spaces. The Delta is a bare-bones product which is lacking some features that other strollers in our testing offer, like a deep recline or large storage baskets. It's a great option for families on a tight budget or for those who only require a second stroller on occasion, like for a trip to the zoo.
The LX Side by Side is a light compact stroller that's easy to turn and push. Its short frame, with swivel wheels in the front and padded shoulder pad provide smooth riding. It's comfortable for all passengers thanks to its multi-position reclining seat and cup holder for parents.
2 in 1 prams has large canopy in European style that offers shade from the sun as well as some protection from light winds. It also comes with two storage bags, a five-point safety harness and two storage bags.
The Delta took less than three minutes to put together, the quickest time in our test group. The manual is standard, and it does not require any tools for assembly. It is one of our lighter products and folds flat making it easy to lift and transport. In our Strollers & Multiples test, we rated the ease and smoothness with which each product can be pushed and turned to open and close the safety harness and adjusted the brakes, opened and closed the storage basket and even removed and put in the infant car seat.
