"Just focus on the Olympics." The Polish Volleyball Association (FIPAV) presented a "gift" to the head of the men's and women's volleyball team ahead of the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

FIPAV said on the 26th, "We have decided to extend our contract to the next Olympics (2028 Los Angeles), regardless of the results of this tournament."

Lavarini is in charge of the women's team, while Grvich is in charge of the men's team. "Both coaches have made good performances since taking over the national team," FIPAV said. "There is no reason not to extend the contract."

Coach Stefano Lavarini, who reached the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympics with the Korean women's volleyball team, later moved to the Polish women's team without renewing his contract with South Korea.

Coach Rabirani led the Korean women's team to the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympics held in 2021. Based on his performance, he moved to the Polish women's team.

Under Lavarini's leadership, the Polish women's team ranked third and fourth respectively in the 2023 and 2024 Volleyball Nations League hosted by the FIVB. In the same year as Lavarini, Coach Grievich also made notable achievements.

He ranked second at the 2022 World Championship and topped the 2023 VNL and Euro Bowl. Meanwhile, Grovic had an impressive playing days, unlike Lavarini, who has no experience in playing as a player.

Born in Serbia, he was selected to join the senior national team at age 18 and has been active for a long time. His position as a player was setter, and he won a bronze and a gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta 2000 Sydney Games, respectively. Sydney is also the last competition in which the Korean men's team has advanced to the Olympics.

Korea had a showdown in Group B with the Yugoslav Federation, where Grovic played in Sydney. Korea did well with Yugoslavia at the time. They lost 2-3 after a close game going all the way to the full set. Korea was the final 9th out of the 12 teams that participated.

In 2010, he participated in the World Championship in Italy to lead Serbia in third place and receive the best setter award. He started his career as a coach for Perugia in the Italian league in 2014.

Poland's men's volleyball team coach Nikola Grivich is cheering after winning a gold medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics when she was an active player. Serbia participated as Yugoslavia at the time. Yugoslavia won the gold medal by winning the set score 3-0 against Russia in the final.

Meanwhile, both men's and women's teams were in Group B at the Paris Olympics. Men's teams were Italy, Brazil, and Egypt. Women's teams were in the same group as Brazil, Japan and Kenya.   에볼루션 바카라사이트

The Polish men's team once won a gold medal at the Olympics. It is the 1976 Montreal Olympics. It is the only medal that the Korean women's team has won in Olympic volleyball so far. The women's team won back-to-back bronze medals in 1964 in Tokyo and 1968 in Mexico City, where volleyball became an official Olympic sport.

After that, he did not make it to the Olympic finals for a while, but participated in the 2008 Beijing Games and was ranked 9th at the time.
