NBA star Jamal Murray (27) is expected to sign a four-year extension with his team Denver soon.

"Denver is working hard to extend his four-year contract with Murray by up to $209 million (W289.9 billion) this offseason," Shams Sharania of global sports media The Athletic said on his social media on Friday. "We look forward to an agreement between the two sides."

Murray, who was drafted by Denver with the seventh pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft, has been the team's flagship guard all along.
