The Best Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to grow with you and your family. It offers a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or children of various ages. Its foam-filled rubber tires never flatten and its soft suspension can easily handle kerbs.
It folds flat and is in compliance with airline gate-check weight requirements which makes it easy to travel with. It also comes with a large under-seat storage basket and a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a great choice for flyers. Its sleek design, auto-folding feature and dimensions that are approved by the cabin make it a great choice. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly larger than the IATA standard 45cm. But, it is in compliance with the regulations for hand luggage of airlines. It can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (subject to approval by the airline). We found it easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were many extras available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy bags that are strapped onto the handles and hoods that provide UV50and protection.
It's easy to maneuver up and down stairs, and it can fit through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar also doubles as an handle. There's also a large brake that is flip-flop compatible and comes with a colour-coded indicator. The basket is smaller than other models however it's large enough to take an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable from birth and can be paired with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's an innovative backrest that flattens for naps or long walks and the smart magnetic 5-point harness is easy to use. It's also light at 6.6kg and comes with the travel bag.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with parents who are expecting" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two children at once in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which lets both children see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children available.
tandem double stroller is suitable for use starting at the time of birth and can be used in conjunction with Joie car seat or carrycots. It's easy for you to fold and lift, drive and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it comes together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps than other models.
The front seat can't fully recline and the parents needed to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. But, they do agree that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some adjustments. They love how compact it is when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that gives parents all the options they need. It is compatible with many car seats and folds up easily by using a single-click mechanism. It also comes with a variety of accessories that other brands charge for separately, such as rain covers and liners.
iCandy Peach is a favorite among parents who are fashion-conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabrics. The new 2022 Peach is updated with minor tweaks to improve efficiency and performance without sacrificing aesthetics.
One of the most significant changes to the current Peach is the inclusion of a ride-on board which makes it a fantastic option for twins. It is also a little smaller than the older Peach model, yet it still provides all the space your child could need.
It's the perfect double stroller for parents who are looking for something that looks good and offers a lot of versatility. You can use it from birth as a single stroller, and then purchase a double-kit for it to be a twin buggy. It comes with a large basket and five recline positions to provide maximum comfort for your child. It also comes with an integrated carry strap and a one-handed folding mechanism. The only downside is that it's somewhat heavy to store when not in use, especially as it folds into two pieces rather than one.
iCandy Orange
This is the top twin buggy you can get. The seats are well-padded and come with luxurious footmuffs or liners that will keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot slots onto the Orange chassis with ease thanks to the gates that open and is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis allows for 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are made to take on rough roads and terrain. It also comes with a large shopping basket, which is ideal for supermarkets with large sizes. The pushchair is light and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it easy to use, but it's not suitable for flip-flops. It's not easy to fold as the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to open. Once it's collapsed the front wheels tuck under the basket and the chassis can free-stand without difficulty.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They're looking for a buggy that can grow with their child. It's a great choice for parents expecting a second baby in the near future and want a double pushchair that's flexible. The iCandy Orange is not cheap however it's a versatile product that it should last for some time and also have a high resale price too. It's also available with a buggy board, which can reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and part of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first pram company that focuses on double all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered through narrow aisles for shopping and through the doors. It is among the most compact and full-featured double buggies that are available and has won numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are narrow enough for children of different age groups to be able to sit comfortably and the seats are adjustable, allowing children to choose their preferred position. The large canopies have flick-out sun visors and the storage basket is extremely spacious. It is compatible with two infant car seats when you buy of car seat adapters. It can be used with almost all brands that are available, which is a huge advantage.
The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it's heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and may be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It is also more expensive than other double buggies. It is built to last and has a lot of options for the price. It's a good option for urban parents who wish to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckles and straps that are padded make it safe for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and practical design. It's a high-quality product but it's not without imperfections.
It's got very little in terms of extra features for the kids and the parents. There's a tiny side bin in the seat that's only usable when the seat is connected and that's the only thing it offers. There are no parent trays cup holders, cup holders or accessory pockets, and this could be problematic for long journeys.
The seats don't recline very flat, and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had trouble sitting back comfortably. This is a shame since it's a top-of-the-line model.
It's easy to maneuver and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing up stairs and slopes. It's also slim enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds up quickly for easy storage and transport. It can also be turned back to mono mode in just three clicks if ever need some more room or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate a third kid if needed. It's pricey, however for those on a budget there are alternatives out there. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's worth the price.
