Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are important factors to consider. Picking one that is simple to use and compact when not in use will make it easier to place in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.
The best strollers that are lightweight have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanisms to lessen the burden on parents' bodies. Many strollers have different seating options and some can even accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families on moving. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension and the multi-position reclining seats, can accommodate children weighing up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents along with a large storage bin and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a flimsy seat made of hard plastic and a design which appears outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter, so it's not the best option if you're looking for a budget option.
It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features that it is worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to navigate on flat surfaces and it is able to jump over curbs with minimal effort unlike other light strollers that drift off course when trying to accomplish the same thing. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle has a disadvantage. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push your legs hanging in the air like that and it's also not helping that it lacks padding.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and opened. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You have to slide the slider, and then press a large white button. It can be quite frustrating, especially if you're juggling kids while doing it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that can accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow and you may have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud includes two tray for parents and children with two cup holders each however, both are too narrow to accommodate larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that's great for travel. It weighs just 18 pounds and is lighter than other single strollers. and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. Plus, it has a one step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have a good neck control in order to ride on the front seat. The stroller does have three panels of sun canopy, and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 pounds, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxe features that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's quite similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have some key differences. It's also slightly more expensive, but it has more maneuverability and a larger sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold children up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're looking for a stroller that's light in weight but also packed with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just incredibly light at just 13 pounds but also offers plenty of storage space in the form of child and parent cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket and a parent storage pocket and more. This stroller is also compatible with a child's chair and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that is easily engaged. It's designed to grow with your children from a baby stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months of age and up.
This stroller only has swivel wheels and has no locking capabilities which means it won't be the best choice for steep or rocky terrain. It's still a good option for families with children, since it is easy to maneuver on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This is one of the most compact and lightweight double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature lets the stroller to fold with just one hand in seconds and it's compact enough to be easily stored in your garage or trunk. It can also be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible without adapters to most car seats.
In contrast to most strollers that are lightweight unlike other strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ has two separate seats that can accommodate up to 50 pounds per seat (100 lbs total). The seats come with individual leg rests as well as 3-panel canopies that include flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are cushioned to ensure the comfort of your child. They also come with a 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted in three different height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion that is perfect for babies. Parents will appreciate the cup for both parents and children, as well as the holders, cell phone holder, and a large storage basket. The stroller can also be outfitted with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into an e-bike.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents seeking a stroller that is light and can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and offer a similar amount of headroom. It also allows kids to sit side-by-side. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is a great option for napping. The recline feature is simple to use, but it doesn't really go flat. Children who are taller may have a leg hanging in reclined positions. It also has a huge canopy which we found to be superior in blocking sun than some other options in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to to navigate through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground. Its only drawback is the small storage space. When full of kids' stuff it feels squeezed.
Joovy is a family-owned business that designs unique functional, durable and high-quality baby products. Their range of products includes innovative baby bottles like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and a unique raincover that fits a wide range of popular strollers. The company's products are reasonably priced, and they often have fun designs that attract children.
During our lab tests of double strollers, we evaluate several factors to determine how easy a model is to use, such as the ease of use to fold and set up and adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it in a trunk of a car, and then install and remove an infant car seat (if necessary). We also analyzed the strength and durability of each product, and whether it comes with a parent tray that can hold both children trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top score for ease of use in our latest update of the best double strollers guide, and one of the top scores in our Strollers test program overall.
