The first gaming and entertainment center in Eastern Kentucky will open in two weeks. The center will invest $75 million to create nearly 250 new jobs and generate millions of dollars in new tax revenue.

Sandy's Racing and Gaming will open to the public on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. – Passionate players are expected to line up earlier.

"With world-class gaming venues, locally sourced dining options, multiple entertainment stages, and an incredible BetMGM sportsbook lounge, Sandy will be the premier entertainment destination in the region," said John Marshall, Sandy's president of Racing & Gaming. "There's nothing different than Sandy and we can't wait for everyone to experience it."

People over the age of 21 will be able to play nearly 700 slot-like games, enjoy night music performances, and watch live sporting events on three screens the size of a movie theater while enjoying Big Sandy Burger, Sandy Ale, and Sandy's famous handmade pies.

Construction of the 75,000-square-foot gaming facility, located at 10699 U.S. 60 in Ashland, began in April and is led by Kentucky-based construction of D.W. Wilburn and the Tri-State Building trade. Throughout the project, more than 300 local unionists were employed, and 90% of all materials and supplies were made in the United States. When the doors open, Sandy will employ nearly 250 additional locals.

"We are incredibly proud to be part of the Tri-State community, and even more proud to support the region with new jobs and new tax revenues," said Revolution Racing President Larry Lucas, who is leading the project in partnership with the Eastern Cherokee Indians Band and the Kentucky Quarter Horse Racing Association.

Sandy's Racing & Gaming will feature Kentucky's first quarterly racetrack, horse riding, and gaming facilities. Construction of Sandy Ridge, a racetrack that will be located on 182 acres behind the gaming facilities, is scheduled to begin in early 2024, with the first race expected to take place in 2025.   프라그마틱 슬롯 사이트
