Korean men's national soccer team striker Cho Gyu-seong has not scored a goal in four games, and his team, Midtjylland, in the Danish professional soccer Superliga, has suffered consecutive losses.

Midtjylland lost 0-3 in the 5th game of the '2023-2024 Superliga' championship round against Silkeborg held at JYSK Park in Silkeborg, Denmark, on the 30th (Korean time).

The Super Liga is in a split round. The Danish league, which is a 12-team system, plays home and away until the 22nd round, then divides the six teams into upper and lower divisions and plays 10 home and away games again to determine the final winner.

Midtjylland, which entered the split round ranked first in the league, fell to third place after falling into a swamp of two consecutive losses with today's loss.

The point difference with first place Brönby (56 points) is 4 points.

Cho Gyu-seong started as a front-line striker in this game, but was unable to attack properly and was replaced by Ola Brynhildsen in the 17th minute of the second half.

He went on a goal silence for the fourth straight game, with just one shot on target in 62 minutes. Midtjylland was pulled after allowing the first goal to Silkeborg's Tony Adamsen in the 17th minute of the first half. Afterwards, an additional goal was scored by Anders Klünge in the 28th minute of the first half and a key goal by Stefan Teatur Todarsson in the 45th minute of the first half, resulting in a complete defeat. Another Korean Leaguer defender Han-beom Lee, who plays for Midtjylland, was unable to play. Midtjylland will face Brönby at 1 a.m. on the 6th. 토토
