It was reported that Premier League scouts were coming to Serbia to watch Hwang In-beom's game.

Local media, including Serbian media "Informer," reported on the 22nd (Korean time) that scouts from Premier League clubs will come to Serbia to watch the upcoming Serbia Cup semifinal match between Tsurvena Zvezda and Partizan Belgrade. The reason they are coming is to watch Hwang In-beom.

"According to sources, a club in the Premier League is interested in Hwang. He can play in a stronger league than the Serbian Super League. Zvezda is in a good environment for him, but management will take that into consideration if a strong financial offer comes in. If Hwang wants, he will let go. Mid-tier club scouts in the Premier League are showing interest in him. Of course, he will have to pay a lot of money because it is expensive," he said.

Hwang is playing an active role as a core player of Serbia's prestigious Zvezda. He has scored five goals and five assists in 29 matches in all competitions this season, including the league, cup competition, and the UEFA Champions League. Zvezda is ranking No. 1 in the league with 26 wins, two draws and three losses, and chances are high he will clinch the trophy this season. He is also aiming for the trophy at the Serbia Cup, which was mentioned in the media.

He even made his first Champions League debut and debut goal at Zvezda. Hwang In-beom made his first UCL appearance on September 20 when he left for an away match at Manchester City. Although he lost his first game, he made a strong impression as he scored the starting goal against Manchester City. Later, Hwang said in his blog that he admired Pep Guardiola of Manchester City.

When he joined the club, he expressed his expectations for the UCL. "They told me that they should be ready to run for 90 minutes without stopping," Hwang said, revealing his advice from Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan. "I am ready to help the team, and I can play like a dog without getting tired. I want to celebrate my birthday with them, too, while celebrating the victory that I am bringing from Manchester. I will do my best to make that happen." The first match against Manchester City took place on Sep. 20, Hwang's birthday.

Although the team failed to advance to the round of 16 during the group stage, it ended in the final match. Although the team lost 2-3 games, he scored one goal and one assist against his long-cherished team on the dream stage. After the game, Hwang In-beom said in an interview with a local Serbian media, "I'm proud of the team. We didn't get good results, but we attacked until the end.
