LA Angels' Shohei Ohtani showed off his polite partnership spirit. The ball he hit almost hit the pitcher. Ohtani did not forget his gesture of sorry to the opposing pitcher as he ran to first base, as he was surprised right after the strike.

Otani started as the second designated hitter in the 2023 Major League game against the Chicago White Sox at LA Angel Stadium on the 29th. Otani went 3-for-5 with two runs, but failed to stop his team from losing. Ohtani drew attention in this game with a brighter dignity than multi-hit. The Angels lost 5-11.

Otani faced his fourth at-bat in the bottom of the eighth inning, trailing 4-9, without a runner with one out. Otani faced White Sox second pitcher Keynan Middleton. He hit a high-fastball for the fifth pitch and got a heavy hit.

The 102.2 mile speed hit exactly half the diamond. It almost passed over Middleton's head. If the height of the ball had been a little lower, an unimaginable scene would have been created.

Otani repeated the expression again even though Middleton was not actually right. Otani, who works as a pitcher and a batter, knows better than anyone how surprised Middleton must have been. Middleton is also in a relationship with Otani from 2018 to 2020 in the Angels.

The Angels later recovered one point with a walk by Mike Mustakus and a timely hit by Brandon Drury.

The White Sox added two runs in the top of the ninth inning to break the Angels' will to chase.

Earlier in the top of the first inning, the White Sox took the lead with Lewis Robert Jr.'s two-run home run.

The Angels immediately hit back in the bottom of the first inning. Otani and Mike Trout lightly recovered one point with consecutive triples. Brandon Drury's timely hit continued to balance 2-2. Otani hit his fifth triple of the season. He also tied for first place with a triple.

However, the White Sox scored three consecutive innings until the top of the third inning. It ran away 5-2.

In his second at-bat in the bottom of the third inning, Ohtani struck out swinging after a close game of full count. He also struck out in his third at-bat in the sixth inning. The White Sox scored three more points in the fourth inning and one more in the fifth inning, widening the gap to 9-2 to seal the victory.    스포츠토토
