U.S.-based casino operator Mohegan Tribe Game Authority said building a casino resort project in Incheon, near South Korea's capital, Seoul, was "moving ahead of schedule."

"We anticipate the completion of the project in the second half of 2023 and the opening of casinos outside of gaming," said Raymond Pineault, CEO.

Project completion at the end of January was 45.3%, with construction progress "4.5 percent ahead of plan," he added.

His comments came during a conference call with investment analysts following the company's quarterly results on Thursday.

The project includes a foreigner-only casino, as well as leisure supplies and 1,270 rooms and suites. The entire complex is being developed by a local subsidiary of Mohegan. When the construction is completed, the resort will also have a 15,000-seat multipurpose stadium, the promoter said.

"After a comprehensive review of the Mohegan Inspire, we expect to make additional equity investments to fund various items related to the project," Mr Pinot said.

The CEO said the additional investment was a "significant area of focus" related to hotel rooms and space expansion for conventions and meetings, as well as additional "food and beverage capacity."

Mr Pinot said the additional investment to ensure off-game amenities was "enough to secure strong market share and support other programs at the resort, including stadiums."

He added that Mohegan also prepared "additional funds" to cover pre-opening costs and "some increased costs and provide additional working capital."

In January, Mohegan announced details of a funding agreement with Hanwha, one of Korea's largest conglomerates, regarding its Inspire resort. 카지노사이트
