Chelsea have started talks with Napoli to recruit Victor Osimhen. They are moving very slowly, Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano said on Wednesday.

Osimhen is a striker who has recently attracted the attention of big European clubs. He left LOSC Reel to join Napoli in 2020. He also showed off his strength to score 31 goals in 39 matches in all competitions last season. Notably, he was the top scorer in Italian Serie A with 26 goals in 32 matches. He has excellent goal-getting ability in the box, and is equipped with sincere forward pressure and fast feet. Last season, Napoli won Serie A title for the first time in 33 years thanks to Osimhen's performance.

His courtship against Osimhen continued immediately last summer. Big clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and others that need front-line strikers showed interest in Osimhen.

However, Osimhen chose to stay this season and signed a new contract with Napoli in December last year. Osimhen's buyout was set at around £111.5 million. Nevertheless, Osimhen is expected to receive tremendous attention again this summer.

So far, Chelsea and PSG have actively wanted Osimhen. Chelsea wants to strengthen its power to make up for its sluggishness this season next season. Naturally, it picked Osimhen as a new front-line striker. PSG is likely that Kylian Mbappe will leave this summer. In response, Osimhen was chosen as Mbappe's replacement.

Here, reporter Romano predicted the possibility of Osimhen's trip to Chelsea. Chelsea and Napoli reported that they had begun talks.  토토사이트

Naturally, rumors of Lee Kang-in's transfer are also losing steam. Italian media outlet Il Martino recently reported that PSG has decided on a trade candidate to reduce Osimhen's transfer fee. One of them is Lee Kang-in. However, as Osimen's next destination is leaning toward Chelsea again, the possibility of Lee Kang-in's release has decreased.
