Korean Air in the men's professional volleyball division and Hyundai Engineering & Construction in the women's division became the winners of the 2023-2024 V-League regular league battle, which was fiercer than ever.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction won 3-1 (23-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-19) in the sixth round match against Pepper Savings Bank in the 2023-2024 V-League at Pepper Stadium in Gwangju on the 16th, confirming its No. 1 regular league title in 13 years except for the 2019-2020 season and the 2021-2022 season, which ended early due to the aftermath of COVID-19.

In the men's game held earlier, Korean Air ranked first as Woori Card, a leading candidate, slipped. Until just before the final match, it seemed that a red light was on for the first time in V League history to win an integrated championship for four consecutive seasons, but they got a chance again dramatically. Except for the 2019-2020 season, when the postseason was not held due to COVID-19, they also achieved the feat of advancing to the championship for seven consecutive seasons.

Both teams had tough seasons. Hyundai E&C had a winning streak at the beginning of the season but started to lose steam rapidly as it entered the second half. Except for ace Moma and Yang Hyo-jin in the center, the firepower on the court significantly declined. Heungkuk Life Insurance reorganized its forces with a combination of Kim Yeon-kyung and Willow, and allowed them to chase down to below his chin. Finally, he was able to determine the No. 1 ranking in the regular league on his own, and suffered a shutdown defeat in his last showdown with Heungkuk Life Insurance on Wednesday, threatening Suseong in the lead up to the end. In the final match against Pepper Savings Bank, sense of crisis was heightened by losing the first set, but Moma managed to keep the No. 1 ranking by playing a troubleshooter.

Korean Air was also close to losing its place in the first round due to its prolonged slump in the early part of the season. Due to the injury of its built-in ace, Lincoln had to endure throughout the first half with his gums showing the traditional Korean apogit Lim Dong-hyuk. With the emergence of new foreign player Murad, he gained hope but faced another crisis in the sixth round. As Woori Card and OK Financial Group were caught consecutively, they seemed to be losing their No. 1 title. However, as Woori Card suffered a shock loss to Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in the final round, it secured a lucky ticket to go directly to the playoffs.  안전놀이터
