A game that passed by at least a moment of regret

Kim Yeon-kyung is celebrating after scoring.

I can't give up like this.

Women's professional volleyball Heungkuk Life continues its glimmer of hope for the top spot in the regular season. This is the result of the season's final sixth round match against Hyundai Engineering & Construction with a hot shutdown victory.

Heungkuk Life Insurance is ranking second with 27 wins and 8 losses and 76 points for this season. Hyundai E&C, ranking first, has 25 wins and 10 losses and 77 points. With each game left until the end of the season, Hyundai E&C will take the lead. Regardless of Heungkuk Life Insurance's move to meet GS Caltex on July 15, it will confirm its No. 1 ranking if it secures a third point in the match against Pepper Savings Bank on June 16. However, as the V-League is nearing an end with many variables, rapid withdrawal is prohibited.

Heungkuk Life is glad that there are still opportunities left. At the center of keeping hope was Kim Yeon-koung, "Ace." He showed an explosive temperament in clutch situations in each set against Hyundai Engineering & Construction. After 20 points, he led his younger brothers with a shine. It was Kim Yeon-koung who took the lead in the head start and turned the weight in a deuce competition.

Kim Yeon-kyung shares her joy with Heungkuk Life colleagues.

"It was a game that I thought was important, and I wanted to show a different side of myself. I was more focused because we are going to meet in spring volleyball (apart from the rankings)," he said. "I am going to the last game, so I think I have to do it until the end," he added.

However, it is regrettable that the Pepper Savings Bank match was 1-3 against the previous match. "I was also shocked because it was the first game I lost to the opponent team. I had a hard time recovering from the injury," he confessed. However, he looks at the next game with all his heart, saying, "The game has passed since I regret it." He also mentioned the most important part, "We." "We play first (than Hyundai E&C). It is important that we do well. I know well that we have more chances only when we bring three points, not just winning."

In fact, if it secures three points, it can put psychological pressure on Hyundai E&C. If Hyundai E&C wins only two points over Pepper Savings Bank, it will be tied at 79. This is because Heungkuk Life Insurance, which is ahead of the next ranking, will rise to first place in the multiplier. Planting pressure is the ideal scenario for Heungkuk Life.

Kim Yeon-koung is applauding her colleagues.

Pepper Savings Bank should also make a good effort. Coach Marcello Abondan once joked that he should send a fruit basket to Pepper Savings Bank. Kim Yeon-koung also said, "You've been in good condition lately. I like Yasmin and Park Jeong-ah. I don't know what to expect, but that's what happened."  스포츠토토

All that remains is to cheer up until the end of the season. "Actually, I feel even more tired as I come to the end of the season," Kim said. "But that can't be a reason. That's an excuse. The rest of the regular season games as well as post season games will continue. It's important to keep the focus on that and keep in shape so that I can get better."
