2 consecutive PO wins over Hana One Q

Game 3 clash in Bucheon on the 13th

Cheongju KB, No. 1 in the women's professional basketball regular league, won two consecutive games in the playoff (PO) against Bucheon Hana One-Q, leaving only one win to advance to the championship game.

KB defeated Hana One Q 62-52 at the home game of the second round of the 2023-2024 Women's Professional Basketball PO held at Cheongju Gymnasium on Sunday. KB, which won the first round 69-51 two days ago, secured both home games. A team that won the first and second rounds of the PO with three wins out of five women's professional basketball matches has a "100%" chance (8/8) of advancing to the championship game. Hana One Q, which ranked fourth in the regular league this season and succeeded in advancing to the PO for the first time since the foundation of the team in 2012, is aiming to counterattack at Bucheon Gymnasium on the 13th.

KB left the court with its "pillar" Park Ji-soo complaining of pain in his right ankle with 7:19 left in the second quarter. Even though Park Ji-soo left the court, KB did not give up the lead. After returning to the court without any serious injury, Park scored 17 points, the most in his team, and won 22 rebounds to dominate under the basket. He also contributed to his teammates' scoring support by posting five assists.  토토사이트 추천

KB's two-option Kang Yi-seul scored only 7 points with a success rate of 11.11 percent (1/9), including 7 attempts on three-point shots, which is his specialty, but he added 12 rebounds to control the right to provide. Kim Min-jung and Heo Ye-eun added 10 points and 8 points, respectively.

Hana One Q was largely attributed to "Veteran" Kim Jong-un, who had been showing all-out performance with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, being sent off for five fouls with 5:30 left in the fourth quarter. Jihyun Shin, 15 points and 6 assists, and Yang In-young fought hard with 12 points and 10 rebounds, but failed to overcome basic power inferiority.
