BNK Defeated Shinhan Bank in Changwon to Finally Escape 13 Consecutive Losses

Busan BNK Thumb beat Incheon Shinhan Bank in a game in Changwon for the first time in a year to end the tiresome 13-game losing streak.

BNK won 73-59 at the home game against Shinhan Bank in the regular league of Woori Bank WON 2023-2024 Women's Professional Basketball held at Changwon Gymnasium on the 17th.

BNK, the lowest-ranked team that has lost 13 consecutive games since the match against Shinhan Bank on December 17 last year, won its first victory in 2024 and made a total of 5 wins and 22 losses for the season. On the other hand, Shinhan Bank, ranked fifth, which has lost four consecutive games, has 7 wins and 19 losses, while the gap with fourth-ranked Bucheon Hana One-Q (9 wins and 17 losses) has widened by two games.

BNK, which uses Sajik Gymnasium in Busan as its home stadium, has Gyeongnam and Ulsan as its second base. In the second quarter, Shinhan Bank tied it up with 12 points and scored 24 points, widening the gap. Jinan, Ahn Hye-ji, and Han Um-ji scored with Kim Han-byul's outside shot, 30-20 and a 10-point gap. BNK led Lee So-hee and Jinan to run away, and ended the first half with a 43-26, 17-point gap.

In the third quarter, BNK and Shinhan Bank exchanged 11 points, keeping BNK in the lead. Shinhan Bank followed in the fourth quarter, but BNK, which had already widened the score, kept the gap and won comfortably.
