"I wanted to whip myself in a new environment, a new atmosphere."

Coach Kim Do-kyun, who ended his four-year companionship with Suwon FC, stood on a new starting line with a "challenge spirit."

Coach Kim Do-kyun ended his four-year companionship with Suwon FC. Suwon FC announced on the 12th that "Coach Kim Do-kyun, who created a miraculous drama to stay, has completed his companionship with the team after the 2023 season."

He voluntarily resigned after leading the team to remain in the K-League 1 this season. Kim felt stagnant when he led Suwon FC. That was especially the case last season. He renewed his two-year contract during the 2022 season and the contract period runs until 2024, but he wanted to challenge himself anew.

Against this backdrop, Seoul E-Land paid attention to head coach Kim. K-League 2 Seoul E-Land was founded in 2014. Several coaches took the helm, but it was only a team that was somewhat far from promotion. His best performance was to rank fourth in the K-League 2 in 2015.

He needed experienced promotions just like Kim. Kim is a proven leader who led his team to the K-League 1 promotion just one season after taking the helm of Suwon FC in 2019. Seoul E-Land wanted Kim to form a "team that can challenge promotion." Rather than strongly demanding promotion, he asked Kim to create a "team that can have hope for promotion."

Coach Kim, who has been fighting a particularly difficult fight this season, also had a desire for a "challenge" and made up his mind after the promotion PO on the 9th.

It is a "beautiful breakup." He has incorporated his own colors into the team based on his gentle leadership.

In 2021, one season after his promotion, he ranked his team fourth in the K-League 1. He also advanced to the Final A ranked first to sixth for the first time since his foundation, displaying the best performance ever by his team. He put forward his signature offensive soccer. This made Kim one of the four candidates for the 2021 K-League 1 Coach Award. He failed to make it to the Final A in 2022, but ended the season ranking seventh, the highest in the Final B ranked seventh to 12th.

This season was a bit of a struggle, but the finish was easy. They lost to the relegation zone and played a thin game to get to the promotion and promotion PO. After losing the first leg 1-2, they lost the second leg of the promotion and promotion PO with Busan I-Park, but they scored a whopping five goals and led them to remain "dramatic" with a combined score of 6-4 in the first and second legs.

"Actually, I was going to quit after the last season, but I renewed my contract. The timing was right at that time, but as I struggled throughout this season, I thought I should clean up. I wanted to try a new challenge, but the timing was right. I decided that I could challenge myself," Kim said. 메이저 토토사이트

Kim's "challengeful spirit" to not be complacent moved Kim. "I want to flog myself in a new environment and atmosphere. I have been depressed so far. I want to renew my commitment. Suwon FC stayed this season, but I reflected a lot on myself. The second half is not easy, but I need to show a changed team," he said. "I look forward to the day when I will play 'Seoul The Bee FC Seoul-Seoul E-Land' someday."

Coach Kim terminated his contract with Suwon FC on the 12th and is scheduled to hold his last meeting with Seoul E-Land on the 14th.
