100m double in lane 9 after Noah Lyles won the men's race on Sunday.

Sherica Jackson and veteran Jamaican teammate Fraser-Price won silver and bronze medals in 10.72 seconds and 10.77 seconds, respectively, on day three in the Hungarian capital.   먹튀검증

It was an incredible run for Richardson, 23, who was banned from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, delayed by the pandemic after testing positive for marijuana.

Then she saw her hopes of trying for a medal go up in smoke when she failed to qualify for the U.S. trials at last year's World Championships in Eugene.

"Here I am. I'm a champion. I told all of you. I'm not back, I'm better!" Richardson, who prefers regular hair color changes and brightly painted nails, received an inevitable comparison with the late Florence Griffith-Joyner.

The overwhelming champion, Fraser-Price, said he was "really grateful" for winning the bronze medal after a tough season with a knee injury.

The 36-year-old told the BBC: "Last year I ran and set a winning record and I needed another winning record before I won tonight."

"So it speaks to the level of consistency in women's sprints and makes sure you're 100% going to have to give when you show up," she said.

"Three in a row."

Grant Holloway of the United States became the second player to win a third straight 110 m hurdles behind fellow Greg Foster on a good night on the track.

The 25-year-old Holloway clocked a season-high 12.96 seconds to win the gold medal ahead of Jamaican Olympic champion Hansle Pachiment, who finished in 13.07.

"Three games in a row!" Holloway said. "The important thing was just to protect my title through here.

"I didn't feel any pressure at all. I just wanted to run clean and stay calm at the finish line."

The two field events medals offered were awarded to Burkina Faso, the historic first.

Olympic champion Daniel Stall left late for the second world discus title that captured the crowd.

Sweden, which previously won Doha in 2019, controlled the leaderboard only for defending champion Kristjan Cheh of Slovenia to take the lead with his sixth and final throw.

All eyes were on Stahl for the final throw of the tournament, and the Swede was not disappointed, throwing a championship record of 71.46 m.

"This was my best performance," Stahl said. I'll be so focused that I'll say 1,000% on the last throw after seeing Kristjan."

Se won the silver medal at 70.02 m and 19-year-old Mikola Alekna of Lithuania won the bronze medal at 68.85 m.

The first global title

In the triple jump, Wiggs Fabrice Django gave Burkina Faso his first world track title when he won with a time of 17.64 m.

Lazaro Martinez and Christian Napoleon of Cuba won silver and bronze medals.

"The competition was easy for me," said Zango, who won the world silver medal last year and won his country's first Olympic medal with a bronze medal in Tokyo in 2021.

Zango's path to glory was made easier with the first round withdrawal through the injury of Jaydon Hibbert, a highly proud 18-year-old Jamaican.

In other athletics events, 400m hurdles stars Karsten Warholm and Pemke Ball made the qualifying rounds short.

World record-holder Warholm appeared to be barely sweating despite the sweltering weather as she cruised to Wednesday's final Wednesday.

Former world champions Alison dos Santos of Brazil and Ray Benjamin of the United States also passed.
