Ko Young-joon 22, Pohang Steelers, the gold medalist at the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games in China, is recognized by the European soccer community for his potential.

Ko Young-joon was included in the "15 players under the age of 23 globally" selected by "Elegates" for South Korean professional football in Scotland, Romania, Mexico and Spain (second division).

'Elegates' is a scouting company established in Catalonia, Spain in 2019. I'm looking for talent after being commissioned by the soccer team. Ko Young-joon met the criteria for incorporating sports personnel called "special military service" by winning the Hangzhou Asian Games.

In the Asian Games, he played all seven games until the final and scored one point. He played an average of 48.9 minutes as a right wing and attacking midfielder, helping him win the gold medal in Korean men's soccer with 0.26 goals per 90 minutes.

In the 2023 K League 1, Ko Young-joon is already at the top, ranking fourth in the round of MVP in the game, fourth in the best 11th in effective shooting, seventh in scoring, and 10th in scoring. The number of free kicks per 90 minutes is the seventh largest among players who have played more than 2,100 minutes.

As a member of Pohang Steelers, his rich club football experience with 20 points and 13 assists in 124 games, including the Cup tournament, is his biggest advantage. Considering that it's a career record he's built since the 2020 season when he's 19 years old, his average 59.5 minutes and 0.40 offensive points per 90 minutes as an attacking midfielder and left wing are both great.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League performance is also noteworthy. In 2021, he finished second in Pohang with three assists in nine games and an average of 0.50 attack points per 60.4 minutes and 90 minutes. This season shone with an additional goal in the fourth minute of the second half of the away game (2-0 win) against defending champion Urawa Reds (Japan) in Group J of 40. 토토사이트

As a member of the national team, he has already made his A-match debut through the 2022 East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) E-1 Championship match against China. There is plenty of value and reason to expect Ko Young-joon's future.
