Saskatchewan’s newest millionaire, Jeffery Stepaniuk, from Regina, Saskatchewan, hit big on the Smoke Signals jackpot early morning Sunday, 17 September, winning a total of $1,490,640.58. Stepaniuk won the Smoke Signals top tier progressive jackpot at SIGA’s Gold Horse Casino, located in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.

He was awarded his winnings in an official check presentation ceremony at Gold Horse Casino on Thursday, 21 September 2023, by members of SIGA management.

“On behalf of SIGA’s Board of Directors, management and staff, I would like to congratulate Jeffery Stepaniuk on his impressive Smoke Signals win,” said Gold Horse Casino General Manager Justina Sather.

“Congratulations to our latest Gold Horse Casino millionaire, Jeffery Stepaniuk. We wish you all the best, and enjoy your winnings,” added SIGA Regional General Manager Trevor Marion.

To date, SIGA’s Smoke Signals progressive has paid out $61,788,586.14 in jackpot wins.

Smoke Signals has been reset to one million dollars and can be won at any time.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide progressive jackpot that links 51 slot machines at all seven casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers that increase over time, with specific starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1,000,000 and pays out before it hits $2,000,000. Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.
