Baek Se-hyun successfully made his professional debut in Serie D after moving to ASD Sita Di Varese in the 2020 season. In the 2022 season, Baek Se-hyun returned to Korea and chose to challenge the Korean stage by joining Daejeon Hana Citizen, where he was a youth player.

He moved to Goyang KH FC to get a chance to play in 2023, but faced a difficult situation in which the team was disbanded. Baek Se-hyun finally joined the team after being actively courted by Macao Monte Carlo while seeking several teams at home and abroad.

Baek Se-hyun is a player whose strength is his dedicated play in the midfield based on his 185cm tall height and vigorous activity. Central and defensive midfielders can be played. If you grow up, you can be a great help to Korean soccer.

Baek said, "I'm happy and excited to join Monte Carlo, a strong team in Macau. The team showed active interest. I also felt the advantage of being a team that advanced to the AFC Cup, so I finally joined. "I want to quickly melt into the team and raise my condition to show my team's performance leading to the AFC Cup finals," he said.

Monte Carlo is a Macau-traditional strong team that has won five league titles. He finished second in the league last season and reached the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup playoffs. The AFC Cup is the second-highest international competition in the ACL. Monte Carlo's recruitment of Baek Se-hyun is seen as a way to strengthen his power to advance to the AFC Cup group stage.

Monte Carlo will face Taiwan's Taichung Futuro on August 26 for the AFC Cup group stage qualification.
