Mojang Announces the Closing of its Card Battle Game and Offers One More Year Of Playtime

Scrolls was another idea that was a card-based online battle game that is available on PC, Mac and tablets. 30tt The developer announced that the title was ending its existence and that it would end development. It doesn't offer up a particular reason for the abrupt end however we've reached out to find out if there's any specific reason behind the decision that the developer won a legal battle against Bethesda in being able to name the game "Scrolls" in the first place, but was barred to not name sequels in the same way. Mojang promises to keep the servers up for another year. This means that you'll have 12 months to finish the most recent update and the levels that were released last month.



Update An Mojang spokesperson told us: "The launch of the "Scrolls" beta was great success. Tens of thousands of players played every day, and many of them are still active. The game is no longer able keep pace with the ever-changing game.
