People when the conquest of Mecca, so I embraced Islam after that, and Ibn Sirin tells the story of his conversion to Islam, he says: When the Prophet was sent, I used to herd camels and snatched them, so we went out fleeing for fear of him. on his blood and money; So we entered Islam, and he says: He sent the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and we had a round idol, so we carried it on a pole and turned, so we lost the stone. In it there is an evil deity, and the goat prevents her from reviving her sin, so that was the first Muslim, so she returned to Medina and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed away.

Ibn Sirin is considered among the senior followers, and he gained from the knowledge of the great companions, may God be pleased with them, and his advanced age did not prevent him from learning, even at the hands of young companions such as Abdullah bin Abbas. In which the Prophet, peace be upon him, said that he was given one of the Psalms of the family of David, and he used to say: Abu Musa used to teach us the Qur’an five verses by five verses. He also recited the Qur’an to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, and narrated it on the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, Ali, Ibn Abbas and Samra y, and he learned from the Mother of the Believers Lady Aisha, may God be pleased with her, and he narrated on the authority of other companions of the Prophet r.

Death
Ibn Sirin al-Atari died in the year one hundred and five and it was said: the year one hundred and eight and he lived one hundred and thirty-five years and it was said: one hundred and twenty years. Hassan al-Basri and al-Farazdaq the poet met at his funeral, so al-Farazdaq said to al-Hasan: O Abu Saeed, people say: Good and evil people gathered in this funeral! He said: I am not the best of them and I am not the best of them, but I have not prepared for this day. He said: Testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. He said:
Did you not see that the most important of the people died *** and it was before the resurrection that Muhammad was sent
And he did not spare him the life of seventy Hajjs *** and sixty when he became unmoved
