Course Description
This course addresses how to log into the class curriculum website (unique learning system), select students to add to their virtual classroom, update their monthly class schedule and choose assignments to assign to students. Learners will use a research-based rationale for the selection and utilization of technologies for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating instruction using an open source courseware management system.
This course is delivered 100% online. All interactions will be facilitated through a mix of synchronous and asynchronous communication methods, including class discussion forums, blogs, wikis, live chat, email, and desktop video conferencing.
Our weekly meetings will be facilitated by Zoom Videoconferencing on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM Central Time. Although these meetings are optional and will be archived for later viewing, I encourage you to participate.

- Objective 2.1: Navigate to the student section.
- Objective 2.2: Select the add student button.
- Objective 2.3: Select the add new student tab.
- Objective 2.4: Search for student in data base and select students from caseload and add them to class.
Sub Goal 3: The learner will set unit dates for their classroom monthly plan.

- Objective 3.1: Navigate to Unique Learning System tab.
- Objective 3.2: Select teacher dashboard from tab.
- Objective 3.3: Select “set unit dates” from the tab located at the top right of the screen.
- Objective 3.4: Setup dates from the “current unit” column.
- Objective 3.5: Choose “update my plan” to conclude set up.

- Objective 4.1: Navigate to Unique Learning System tab.
- Objective 4.2: Select the “homework tab” in left column.
- Objective 4.3: Select “add assignment”.

- Objective 4.5: Click “next” to conclude this objective.

Assignments:
To show completion of this course these tasks will have to be completed for each objective in the form of quizzes, discussion questions, and a graded assignment (project) all three are designed to get you to synthesize, evaluate, and extend your knowledge and understanding of the tasks completed. Quizzes consist of multiple-choice questions, matching and short answers designed assess knowledge. The discussion questions are related to each completed objective to show understanding. You will complete an essay that will explore how he or she has changed or learned from those experiences. Total points: 400.

Grading:
Grading for this course includes quizzes, discussion questions and a graded assignment (essay) for each objective. Quizzes address the sub-goals for each objective. Quizzes are available online through this course site and can be taken twice to help increase total points. The discussion questions are to enhance the lesson by providing a viewpoint over the topic to be used for clear understanding amongst learners in this course. With the knowledge received from the quizzes and discussion questions. The graded assignments are the final part of each objective and have greater weighted points. Total points: 400.
