Description
This course is designed for native and non-native English speakers who are interested in improving their English skill in the mathematics field. In this
course, you will improve your understanding of 4 important areas of mathematics: integers, fractions, decimals, and exponents.
Learning Objectives and Learner Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to,
1. Use nouns and adjectives to name and describe arithmetic operations.
2. Use the present progressive while solving real life mathematical word problems.
3. Compare and contrast between integers, fractions, decimals, and exponents.
4. Use mathematical terms correctly by implementing vocabulary words presented in the content of the integers, fractions, decimals, and exponents modules.
Expectations and Grading
Course Schedule: This course runs from November 18th, 2021 to January 28th, 2022. In order to complete the course, participants should work on the assignments presented in each module.
This is a self-paced course. Therefore, it is imperative for the participants of this course to keep the deadlines in mind as they organize their activities based on their time availability.
