Course Syllabus
Students will be able to draw perspective landscape drawing after understanding and implementing the perspective elements of design skills modeled by the instructor. Students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to achieve the overall goal of drawing a picture with an accurate perspective technique. All students will be guided with encouragement to experiment, analyze and construct designs of boxes, names, railroad and landscape drawings towards a central vanishing point. Students will be able to gain an understanding of how perspective was developed through the Renaissance time along with an understanding of linear perspective.
The course was developed using Understanding by Design - Backwards design model.
