Course Syllabus
Welcome to this ePortfolio course. In this course, we will research and develop our own portfolios for showcasing our learning. There is a lot of research into the effectiveness of an ePortfolio, and throughout this course, we will tie in what we're learning in your content areas (ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science) and showcase your learning throughout the year on your ePortfolio.
In this course, we will build a community of learners by asking questions, challenging traditional thinking, researching credible information, and respecting one another in our beliefs.
You're expected to complete the weekly readings/articles, view the requested videos, participate in structured discussions, complete assignments by due dates (life happens, so keep the lines of communication open), and attend weekly meetings.

Grading Policy:
Grading will be based on a 0-100 point scale. For just showing up to and participating in class, a minimum of 50 will be assigned because you have half of the content knowledge. Assignments will be due Friday by end of the business day (11:59 pm CST).
If needed, assignments can be submitted over the weekend because they are not business days, but should not be submitted NO later than 11:59 pm Sunday, no exceptions. If submitted late, the assignment drops a whole letter grade/11 points.
Make-Up Work
Make-up work is available, however, an extension assignment is attached in order to receive full credit for the assignment which will usually require a reflection piece either written, or recorded.
Technology Requirements
A laptop or desktop is required for this course since most of what we will do is online. Strong internet connection, with audio and video input/output. You are not required to share your webcam, but it is encouraged to build a sense of community. Participation for credit is highly encouraged. Headphones are optional depending on your setting.
