Course Syllabus
Welcome to UDF-101, Universal Design in Furniture
This is a four course series that standardizes best practices for all four of our corporate locations. My name is Anthony Botros (Ant Bot) and I am the CEO of Ant Bot Design, LLC. Please call me Ant!
The course will be led by a variety of subject matter experts and expert members of own community.
How to be successful:
-
Have the right mindset. You will learn new and interesting skills that can be used throughout life!
-
Be Present! Courses spiral logically from one course to the next. Spiraling throughout courses helps you, the student, build complex skills with minimal cognitive strain (Johnston, 2012).
-
It is important you master each skill in sequential order. Learners will use a branched program instruction approach. Those who demonstrate mastery can move forward to the next task (Simonson, 2019).
Each course will have its own discussion board so please use that to collaborate with your colleagues and ask questions. If you need further clarity, please reach out to me via text message or email which can be found on the "Contact Information" page.
Courses will occur on the first Monday of every month. Due dates are typically the following business day (except for course 3). Please see the table below for dates and links to the courses.
