Course Syllabus
This course is a trip along the book of Genesis for students in 3 tier grades levels:
(1A) 3rd to 5th Grade
(2B) 6th to 8th Grade
(3C) 9th to 12th Grade
The objective of this course is to learn to defend your faith with biblical knowledge. It is also to teach students to read and think critically about the context of what they are reading, and lastly to learn how to apply God’s word to possible current situation—which will accomplish by thematic discussions about age appropriate topics that will align with the chapters read.
We will read a Chapter a Day and thus discuss weekly questions posted.
This is a 10 week / 60 day course, allowing is 50 days to read a chapter a day.
There will be 5 quizzes and 5 test (all multiple choice) pertaining to chapters read that week.
The Chart below explains the weekly assignment briefly. You will notice the total is 105% of 100%. This means you can miss one of the quizzes and still get an A or whatever math you’d like to calculate. If you get all 105 points you have an A+.
