Best practice with feedback is to make it timely, specific, constructive, and kind. It is also important to make sure that students take the time to reflect on feedback and revisit or revise their work based on the feedback. |

The modules in this course are designed to
- introduce you the different assignment types available in Canvas and what options you have in creating them
- show you the different options for feedback on assignments submitted through Canvas
- give examples of quizzes and self-marking quizzes in Canvas
- introduce you to the Canvas Gradebook and the tools available for communicating with students and sending grades to our SIS
This course will not create good assignments for you, and it won't mark your papers for you, but it will help you feel comfortable in choosing the right tool for your assignment and make managing student submissions easier.
