Young Readers
Are you a young middle school reader? Do you want to read more and comprehend what you are reading? The Young Readers course goal is to encourage middle school children to read actively, to show them the fun of reading when you read with a purpose and the intent to understand rather than complete assignments. This course targets students struggling with reading comprehension and analysis to help build their reading stamina. An assortment of reading strategies and resources are used to meet the needs of different readers coupled with engaging texts to take the reading from extrinsic to intrinsic motivation.
