It's also easy to set up and operate, with the app guiding you through the process step-by-step. Its ability to restart where it left off in our tests is an additional impressive feature. It did this for 77 minute on one cleaning, and then the battery ran out.
The i3+ EVO unlike the other robot vacuums we tested has a self emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris in an external dirt compartment located on its charging base once it's full. The i3+ EVO can be prevented from overfilling thanks to a self-emptying container. However it still needs to be manually emptied at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L, which will last for four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7model, this model is equipped with state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The i7 also has the ability to utilize its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO is not able to do this.
Although the i3+ EVO is superior at picking up surface debris than some of the other robovacs we reviewed, it's not the best in terms of cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being surprisingly quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and was stuck to cords and toys while testing.

If you're looking to increase your collection of robot vacuums, or just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It packs serious power, smart navigation, and handy automation into a slick design at an affordable price. It's the most efficient pound-for pound model currently available and even beats Roborock's higher-priced models in several ways.
This robot does a fantastic job cleaning bare floors and its avoidance system assists it in avoiding furniture legs and other obstacles. It also performs well on carpets and scores the top score in our navigation tests. The only issue is that it's noisier than other models and doesn't do as well in our satisfaction of the owner and predicted reliability assessments.
The Q5 Pro has a very large 770ml dust bin that means you don't have to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is very generous compared to others we've tried. If the battery is depleted it goes back to its dock and automatically recharges, before starting cleaning where it stopped. You can manage the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is one of the first robots we've seen incorporate 3D mapping. This, in conjunction with other innovations, helps it perform exceptionally well during our mopping and vacuuming tests. You can plan cleaning schedules, create no-go zones, and check the battery's status, among other things. The app is simple to use, though it doesn't support Apple HomeKit; that feature is scheduled to be added by 2025.
