1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO and its sibling, the i3 EVO, are identical robots that differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. The i3+ is an excellent option for those looking for a an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but are willing to manually empty the robot's dustbin when it is full.

Both robots are adept at picking up surface debris off hard floors and carpets, and they're excellent in moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates a smart map of your home to help the i3+ navigate and clean up efficiently. The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we test. It can be stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between surfaces, such as rug and hardwood.

iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it might come across. It is also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically takes the dirt out of the docking station's external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes about three hours to recharge.

2. IRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line, and it comes with the most recent features. It's self-charging and self-navigating. the most crucial feature of all -- it has self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the most important sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that allows it to create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or via the app.

In our tests, the i7+ was quicker and more maneuverable than our runner-up and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces types, including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces recurring costs.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session and move around the room, and even vacuum an area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and easy with the iRobot Home app. When connected to these services, we were able give the i7+ voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world of vacuums with cords that are like minivans and buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum for most households and can fit in well next to the table for a coffee or the bookshelf, where you can wave it around like a magic tool.

The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense Lithium-ion battery that produces power without fading for 60 minutes. The main issue with the V10 is its limited run time. As CR's tests have shown, its claims to run up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is a typical battery-powered vacuum's run time. That's still enough run time to clean most of a typical-sized home, but not quite long enough to clean every area (though an additional run-through often does the trick). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more mobile than previous Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is significantly better on low-pile floor carpet.

4. iRobot Roomba 694

The 694 is a basic robotic vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to invest in the latest model of robot. The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in many ways, as it has fewer components that require regular maintenance It also comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, has lower costs for recurring maintenance, has more advanced automation capabilities and is better at moving itself. It also has a larger dustbin and charges quicker.

The RoboVac X8 is a slick RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 for a variety of purposes, because it has a better battery life, can change its suction power mode manually, comes with physical boundary strips, and can be operated by your phone's voice assistant.
