The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault works as a product analyst at Good Housekeeping's Home Care and Cleaning Lab.

He conducts tests and reviews of cleaning appliances. His focus is on mopping robots and vacuum combinations. Multitaskers can be ideal for those who want to eliminate mopping from their list of things to do. Some have great navigation and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads themselves to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than other options which makes it easier to maneuver in tight spaces or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of my favorite navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through an efficient.

It's fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It cleans the carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, hallways, and living room in a single sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up dirt, droppings, and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The rotating mop spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in tight corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like books and broken toys.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mop and vacuums I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's simple to set up and performs well, but this is something you'll need to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of it mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and adaptable cleaning machine.

The device comes with an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map the home and locate furniture and other obstacles. It then uses this information to clean efficiently and efficiently. This will ensure an even and thorough clean and is also rapid.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. These include corners or baseboards, as well as other difficult-to-access spots. They also come with a stretchy side brush that can be extended to reach the floor close to walls and other fixtures. Additionally the mop pads are able to be washed and dried to avoid build-up and lessen the odors.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo allows you to alter the intensity of its suction and select between a back-andforth, or a more random pattern. You can also select the number of passes which will determine how quickly it can move around your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging carpets and rugs.

This device has a fairly high price tag but has a variety of smart features. It is important to remember, however, that the device is subject to recurring expenses in the form mopping equipment and regular maintenance. For instance the brushroll needs to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to twelve months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and the mop pad needs to be replaced every one to three months.

This robot vacuum mop has an excellent Amazon rating and includes many physical automation features. These include the power button that doubles as a general 'Clean' button and a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after finishing its cleaning task. It also comes with a multi-functional dock which automatically empty the dustbin, refills its water tank, and cleans and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal choice for busy professionals or anyone who needs to keep their home tidy without spending too much time on chores. It's a top-performing device, intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home clean with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it is able to handle mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir, and a separate mopping unit with microfiber pads that snap into and out of the way. Separate modules for vacuuming and mopping might seem a bit outdated, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing disposable bags or refilling the tank with water.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature was its precise floorplan map that it uses to draw a route when cleaning. The Matrix Plus was able to navigate easily between rugs, furniture, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option to set "No-Go zones" as well as virtual barriers, which can help to keep certain areas of your house from being scrubbed with a mop.

We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair from pets. It was able capture some of the hair sheds from our cats. It even got into some of the corners and crevices of our stairs where other robots have struggled. It was fairly quiet and had some nice jingles that indicated when it was about to start or finishing its work.

Its main drawbacks were its simplistic app and the necessity to switch between the modules to switch between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't contain multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can do both mopping and vacuuming.

sneak a peek at these guys X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it also has distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to start cleaning, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle a child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture in its path. It will steer clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system maps your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets caught in a blockage like a power cable draped over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating since the X1 does not have a "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another potential downside is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between uses which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant departure from the utilitarian, black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot, and a welcome sight in a space that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
