Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robot vac uum. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to detect objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt with ease while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

The design is also better than the competition. It has a sleek, top piece that looks like a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. robot vacuum cleaner can't do this. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place where cheaper robot vacuums can really be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas, modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed emptying the bin is done without difficulty. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are some of the most advanced available however it's expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tried that does a really good job of collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features like stairs, a fully-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuum s that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping functions at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, simply snap on one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be located near an outlet and have plenty of space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with the boundary strips to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky materials such as cereal.
