Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning dry and wet messes in one go and without the need to switch devices. They can also reduce space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot must have impressive navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads from a dedicated dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in no time at all.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly application that lets you select the exact kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
You can, for example ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are superb and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only problem is that it tends to crash into walls and objects at a high speed. However looking at the cleaning history on the app will tell you exactly what the robot completed, where it's moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance tasks need to be done including emptying the debris tray and cleaning the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, prior to needing to recharge or returning back to the base. And you can see the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and easily understood however we would like to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop and vacuum clean when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. Unlike last year's model, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could miss.
The Roborock model, like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another surface.
robot vacuum cleaner cheap is able to change its course automatically and clean the objects, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek, angular design is striking and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to take the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals the 350ml dust bin as well as a 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin automatically refills.
The only issue I have discovered with this model is that the VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to remove the mount itself for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these using the Roborock app that is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops in order to allow voice control with this model which is a pity considering the quality of its performance.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its smart design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the top options available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair as well as crumbs and other dry mess. It also comes with a high-quality mop that makes hard floors spotlessly clean, even without a wet pad. In addition, the X40 is quiet in operation, only producing occasional bursts of noise when switching between modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another noteworthy characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush, which allows it to get into difficult-to-access corners as well as clean furniture, such as tables and chair legs. The robot is also able to reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice touch that assists the X40 keep floors safe from damage caused by repeated back-andforth movements.
In contrast to other robots that solely focus on one task, the X40 can perform mopping and vacuuming at the same time or individually. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is simple to use and intuitive, and the X40 is equipped with many clever features that are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps, and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous convenient features, making it a perfect option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect when the mop pad is filled and notify you when it overflows, thus reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive on the market and comes with many extra features that distinguish it from. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to clean floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and other small dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are plenty of choices, including the possibility to schedule cleanings and change preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are many functions that other robots don't include, for instance, the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of relying on a manual setting.
robot vacuum hoover has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list however it's not too heavy. It is solid and well-built. Mopping is well designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. They can even extend up to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
