Many of the best models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and creates maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without colliding with them and even managed to cross thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
website link is simple to install and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that is able to easily remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent with a pair of spinning mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin around obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, change the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It is accessible via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri which allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris but they're not able to get every speck of dust. This is why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. It also stores dust in a larger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces costs. The robot can recognize carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app allows you to mark off areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
