Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Select models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.

When I tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it came to carpets or carpets.

The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum Links to an external site. boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

This robot combo has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks that are automatically filled or empty. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual border within the application). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mops which lift and scrub the floor, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation when required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush guarantee a thorough, customised clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run along baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also adjust suction power, mop settings as well as look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video monitoring. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt however, it's not able to be able to reach every piece of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic water tank refill and wash system for hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with their 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. The K10 Plus also has a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if required. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
