Kim Ha-sung and Tommy Edman, two national infielders, were active.

Kim Ha-sung started as the first second baseman in an away game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Bush Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri on the 31st, recording two hits, one run and one RBI in four at-bats. His season batting average was 0.278.

The team lost 4-5. Tommy Edman was there again that day. Edman, who hit a walk-off hit against Josh Hader in the bottom of the 10th inning of extra time the previous day, finished the game with a two-run home run over the right fence against Hader in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs and 2nd base.

The San Diego attack started with Kim Ha-sung. In the first inning, he got on base with a heavy hit against opposing starter Miles Mikolas and stepped home with Manny Machado's heavy hit in the second base with one out.

In the second inning, he scored an RBI with a left-handed hit with two outs and runners on first and second base. Juan Soto then scored a right-handed hit and added a point.

St. Louis returned the game to square one with one shot. Jordan Walker hit a three-run home run over the left fence in the bottom of the fourth inning, starting with leadoff hitter Wilson Contreras' double to left field.

Rookie Walker hit four hits in all four at-bats on the same day, recording four hits in a game for the first time since his debut.

San Diego scored another run in the seventh inning. Leadoff hitter Luis Campusano got on base with a right-handed hit, and Juan Soto hit a heavy hit in the second base with two outs to bring in Campusano. Soto was very active with two hits and a sacrifice bunt.

But Hader failed to finish. Hader, who pitched three consecutive games on the day, gave up a double to Mason Wynn and a home run to Edman after two outs, recording Blonsave in vain.

Rich Hill, who had a chance to start due to Darvish Yu's elbow injury, recorded five hits, one home run, one walk, two strikeouts, and three runs in four innings. He cruised without allowing him to get on base until the third inning in a row, but it was regrettable that he allowed Jordan Walker a home run in the fourth inning.

St. Louis starter Miles Mikolas recorded a quality start with seven hits, two walks, two strikeouts and three runs in six innings. 메이저사이트

The two teams' good defense also continued. San Diego center fielder Trent Grisham caught Wilson Contreras' ball with a diving catch in the first inning with one out and third base to prevent a run. Shortstop Xander Bogartz threw himself to catch Taylor Motor's line drive in the bottom of the second inning. Kim Ha-sung also handled a ground ball on a deep course by his teammate Tommy Edman in the bottom of the fifth inning.

St. Louis did not lose either. Third baseman Nolan Arenado caught Bogartz's ground ball in the first inning with one out and runners on first and second base, stepped on the third base, and sprayed it on the first base to complete the double play defense. Left fielder Rich Palacios caught Trent Grisham's pitch in the top of the second inning by throwing himself into the fence.

Motter, a former teammate of Kim Ha-sung, started as the seventh second baseman and recorded one walk. In the top of the second inning, he was injured while diving to catch Soto's ball in defense, but he played without a substitute.
