Lever Pad
A Lever Pad upvc door handle operates differently to the lever type handles that are found on the majority of doors. These handle types can either operate from a single spindle (inline) or independently from both sides using two inline or offset spindles (pad). These spring cassettes were designed to be used with a spring multipoint locks. They are not compatible with handles that are not sprung and you'll need to cut a hole into your backplate in order for them to fit. (Please look at the image for a technical diagram). These cassettes can be used as a replacement for damaged or missing cassettes in the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are supplied in a single unit. They have a square-cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
