When the lower anchors are secure in place, you can thread the seat belt of the vehicle through the belt guides and buckle on the side of the car seat. The only thing that is notable as a negative is the short crotch buckle that can irritate little ones on their thighs and cause discomfort. It can be fixed by buying a crotch strap cover. It's a very minor con, and we can forgive it because this seat has many other amazing features!
