Lightest Double Stroller
If you're looking for a light double stroller weight and fold size are key factors to take into consideration. When not in use, pick a stroller that is simple to use and small in size. This will allow it to put it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and international roads.
The best strollers that are lightweight have an easy, light fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce stress on parent bodies. Many strollers come with multiple seating configurations and some can even accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families on the go. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels with front suspension, as well as a multi-position reclining seats allow children to weigh up to 50 lbs. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and a 3-tiered canopy with peekaboo window provide maximum sun protection.
The Cloud has one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to its thin feel as well as hard plastic seats and a design that is dated. It is also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This makes it a poor option for parents looking for the cheapest option.
It's not the most light stroller but it's got enough features to make it worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs with ease. The Cloud's low handle is a disadvantage but it's at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push your legs suspended in the air like that and it's also not helping that it lacks padding.
During our testing, we discovered that the Cloud was easy to set up and opened. It's a little more challenging to close the cloud, however. You need to slide a slider and then pull a big white button to get it to collapse. This can be a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while you do it.
The Cloud has a small but deep storage basket that will accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to leave something in there to reach the back.
strollers double comes with an adult and child tray with two cup holders each however, they're too narrow to hold larger bottles or cups.
Kolcraft is an established family business that has been in operation since 1946. They began by making crib pads and diapers and now they produce a variety of baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that is great for travel. It weighs only 18 lbs which is less than other single strollers. and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also features independently reclining seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of various heights. It also comes with an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven surfaces. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be 6+ months old and have solid neck control to ride in the front seat. It does come with an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however, and each seat has its own snack tray and parent cupholders.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight stroller that can be used side by side. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's narrower and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) It has a lot of luxurious details that make it ideal for travel. It is easy to fold, is extremely maneuverable and can fit in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, just like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has some distinct differences. It's also a bit more expensive, but it offers greater maneuverability and the largest sun canopy. It has a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate children who weigh up to 44 pounds for each seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that's light in weight but also packed with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at just 13 pounds but also offers plenty of storage space in the form of child and parent cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket and a parent storage pocket and much more. This stroller is also able to fit the car seat of a child and comes with a brake that is easy to engage that flips. This stroller is designed to expand along with your child. It can be transformed from a baby to a toddler stroller by attaching car seat adapters (sold separate) and is suitable for children 6 months and up.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it only runs on swivel wheels and doesn't come with locking options, so it might not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's still a good option for families of all sizes, since it is able to be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This is among the most compact and lightweight double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it with just one hand in seconds and it's compact enough to store easily in your garage or trunk. It is also able to be used as an infant stroller and is compatible with a variety of car seats without the need for adapters.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is different from most strollers that are lightweight because it has two separate seats that can each hold up to 100 pounds. The seats have individual leg rests and 3-panel canopy that has flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are padded for your baby's comfort and come with a padded 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. Each seat has an infant cushion, which is ideal for babies. Parents will love the cup holders for parents and children, along with the child's cup holders, cell phone holder, and large storage basket. The stroller can also be outfitted with the Yoyo+ Board, which turns it into a tandem stroller.

Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents looking for a lightweight double that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and offer a similar amount of headroom, which allows kids to sit side-by-side. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's an ideal spot to nap. The recline feature is simple to use, but it's not a perfect flat. Children who are taller may have legs hanging out when in the reclined position. It also has a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other strollers in our review of the best double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to maneuver through door frames, which was a major problem for us with some other strollers we tested. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are located close to the ground. The only downside is its limited storage space. When it is full of stuff for the kids it feels cramped.
Joovy is a family-owned business that makes unique functional, high-quality and durable baby products. The company's products are reasonably priced, and they often feature fun designs that will draw children.
During our lab tests of double strollers, our team has evaluated various factors to determine how easy a model is to use, including the ease of use to fold and set up and adjust the safety harness, open and close the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if placing it into a car trunk, and install and remove the infant car seat (if necessary). We also evaluated the strength and durability as well as whether the strollers have a parent tray which can be used by both children.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top rating for user-friendliness in our latest update of our top double strollers guide, and one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its simple-to-use design features one-hand recline that is tilt-free, a large canopy that can rotate forward to provide shade, and features a mesh for ventilation that you can see through when it's tilted, individual child trays that have built-in cup holders, zipper pockets for parents and a large storage basket.
