After Forge is done, you can download any mods you wish to have. There are many websites where you can download mods, however certain aren't as safe as the others. Planet Minecraft and Mods.org are two reliable sites to download mods.

1 Open the Minecraft launcher.

2 Click the "Edit profile" button.

3. Change Serverstat to the Forge one. For example: you have installed Forge 1.7.10 So you need to select "1.7.10 Forge" in the edit profile tab.

4 Exit Minecraft.

1 Go to your Home Windows in your task bar, and then type: "%appdata%".

2. Select ".minecraft" folder, it should be near the top of the screen.

3 Search for the "mods" folder. If you don't already have one, make one and call it "mods".

4 If your mod file is a zip file after downloading it from the web Don't extract it. move the zip file to the "mods" folder. If the zip folder contains jar files, you will only need to drag the jar file to the "mods" folder.

5 Open your minecraft launcher again (Make sure you've set up your Forge profile If not go through Part 3 again). Click "Play" and you'll need to wait to download additional libraries. Once it's done, you can play the game that has been modified! It loaded and everything is up-to-date. All I see is the launch screen. What can I do to improve it?

Some mods require core mods (e.g. CodeChickenCore) therefore make sure you go through the mod's website before downloading as it won't function if it doesn't have its required core mods.
