French national team defender Jeremy Mathieu has expressed his displeasure with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach Luis Enrique. He also revealed what he had experienced with him.

Mathieu played for Barcelona from 2014 to 2017. It was none other than Enrique who hired Mathieu. Enrique also took the helm from 2014 to 2017. Enrique achieved results, including a treble, at Barcelona. However, he was not evaluated as an successful coach. After unsuccessfully playing for Barcelona, Mathieu moved to Sporting in 2017.

"I had a bad time with Enrique in Barcelona. Enrique was the coach who wanted me. We even met in secret to sign a contract. But after moving to Barcelona, Enrique was a coach who didn't talk much to the players and didn't give the players confidence," Mathieu revealed through "Bein Sports."

"I tried to play with confidence, but sometimes in important games I had to sit on the bench. I don't know why. Maybe I need continuity. I didn't understand the situation. In response, Enrique did not explain any reason," he remembered.

Currently, Enrique is coaching PSG. Players at PSG were also confident that there would be players who were going through difficulties like Mathieu. In fact, there were rumors that Enrique was at odds with Kylian Mbappe and other players at PSG. 토토사이트

Mathieu said, "Maybe Enrique is still working like that now. I don't know why he does that. I think that's how Enrique works. It's always that way. Is there a problem with PSG with Enrique? Has Enrique changed his way? Maybe it was for us back in Barcelona, and it is for PSG. Eventually, PSG players will have a bad time with Enrique too."
