Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed a new contract with Tottie Gomes (25, Wolverhampton).

Wolverhampton Wanderers officially announced on the club's official website on the 9th that "our defender Tottie Gomes has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract." The contract will last until 2029.

Totti, who joined Wolverhampton in September 2020, immediately left on loan to satellite club grashofer club Zurich. He has since established himself as the club's main centre-back and led the team to a league championship.

After returning to Wolverhampton in January 2022, he began to adapt to the team little by little and developed his position by playing in 17 league games in the 2022-2023 season.

He has been on the starting lineup in the 2023-2024 season, and has appeared in 20 of 23 games this season.

The club said: "Totty has found a fixed position as Wolverhampton's left-back, enjoying his best season so far under Gary O'Neill. He is playing a related game."
Matt Hobbs, the Sporting Director of the club, said, "With Totti, we can meet players who contribute to the team in various ways without giving up. His ability really balances our defense line."

"Totti is such a positive person and persistent. He wants to be a top player every day and he trains hard. He is a very humble player. He will want to improve more. I think he will improve more."  스포츠토토

"Everyone congratulated me, but I was happy to help 'Chani' (Hwang Hee-chan's nickname) to score a goal," said Hwang, who helped Hwang Hee-chan score in a match against Newcastle United last year. "Chani finished well. I'm glad to hear that."
