Harrah's Entertainment Wins Customer Satisfaction Survey

Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. was a casino hotel operator that topped a recent national customer satisfaction survey by Market Metrix, LLC, a leading provider of hospitality market research services.

Harrah's was ranked No. 1 in hotel operations by a game company in the Market Metrics Hospitality Index for the first quarter of 2003, consisting of 135 hotel brands, 25 airlines, and 11 car rental companies. Companies are ranked within 11 separate categories based on 30,000 consumer surveys conducted each quarter.

Harrah's joined the elite group of index-leading U.S. travel and hospitality brands, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, JetBlue Airways, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Walt Disney World Resorts. Harrah's and the Bellagio were the only two brands to be honored in the gaming industry; Harrah's is the Bellagio among luxury casino hotels, in the regular casino hotel category.

Market Metrics researchers also noted the power of Hara's nationwide customer loyalty program, Total Rewards. In a recent survey, Hara's Total Rewards easily surpassed the customer loyalty program run by the largest casino and hotel operators in the U.S. According to Market Metrics, 30% of Hara's customers surveyed said their Total Rewards membership played a significant role in Hara's decision to stay in Hara's hotel, far surpassing all other customer loyalty programs in the hotel and gaming industry.
