World Poker Tour promotional ambassador Brad Owen will headline the first Brad Owen WPT World Championship Bounty on Aug. 28, awarding the winner a $12,000 package to compete in the WPT World Championship match in Win Las Vegas. The tournament's prize pool also adds a $2,500 WPT Prime Championship Passport, which can be earned by eliminating Owen from the match.

Club WPT is the only place where American poker players can participate in the WPT World Championship in December. The WPT World Championship Passport package is worth $12,000 and includes a $10,400 purchase ticket for the event, a four-night stay in Win Las Vegas, and $1,000 cash for travel.

"We've already started qualifying club WPT players for the WPT World Championship, but we wanted to sweeten the deal in August by creating a unique opportunity to compete and participate with Brad Owen, one of the most popular content creators in poker," said Jeremy Clemons, vice president of online services. "Club WPT players should look forward to an additional opportunity to join Brad, Andrew and other WPT ambassadors at the WPT World Championship in the coming months."

Players interested in entering the Brad Owen WPT World Championship Bounty Final will be able to do so by playing Club WPT satellite events on August 26 and 27. On this day, the satellite will start at normal every hour from 2 p.m. until the final event begins at 11 p.m. The satellites of Brad Owen WPT World Championship Mount do not need to acquire Club WPT VIP and Diamond members, and Club WPT membership will receive the required VIP status for the first month. There is no purchase required to play on Club WPT.
