Nevada has seen at least $1 billion in gaming revenue for the ninth straight month since figures released in November. November's record numbers were helped by international travelers returning to Las Vegas.

Nevada's non-restrictive game licensing contractors reported a total "game win" of $1,321,624,274 in November 2021, an increase of 71.38% over November 2020. The number reported in November was slightly below the single-month record of $1.36 billion reported in July 2021.

Casinos in the Silver State already posted the third-highest gaming revenue with December numbers yet to be added. If December continues to hit $1 billion or more, Nevada will easily break its one-year record.

Casinos weren't the only ones who had all the fun. Nevada's sportsbooks were also listed in the history books. For the first time, Nevada sportsbooks have made a $1 million bet over the past few months.

The book, which won $72 million out of $1.1 billion in bets, beat the previous record posted in November 2020 of $61.8 million.
