Celebrating Three Epic Months Of Back-to-Back Blockbuster Game Launches In Xbox Game Pass

It's been a memorable year for Team Xbox and for you our customers. We welcomed Bethesda to the Xbox family and announced a new slate of games in June, and then launched Psychonauts 2 and Microsoft Flight Simulator Two of the highest-rated games of the year, onto Xbox Game Pass. 25 million gamers have joined us in Sea of Thieves and your enthusiasm for Series X-shaped kitchen appliances has resulted in the "Mini Fridge" an actual thing. Our players are at the heart of everything we do and we could not be more grateful for your incredible loyalty.



Now, just weeks before the Xbox 20th anniversary in November, we're excited to begin three months of blockbuster games that will be back-to-back launches in Game Pass:



The Age of Empires franchise has been a key part of Microsoft's gaming heritage for over a quarter of a century. The Oct. 28 launch of Age of Empires IV will be the biggest to date, bringing the evolved real-time strategy game to a brand new generation on Steam and Game Pass for PC on day one. Minecraft will join Game Pass for PC on Nov. 2, followed by new Minecraft Dungeons Seasonal Adventures in December, and Caves & Cliffs: Part II in the coming year.


Forza Horizon 5's open-world adventure in Mexico will launch on Nov. 9. S and Windows PC. Game Pass also includes cloud and console gaming (beta).


Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition is available for free to existing players, Game Pass members and Game Pass members. It includes five new aircrafts and eight new airports. There are also new Discovery Flights and tutorials. The game also features the most requested community features, such as DX12 support. Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch the Reno Air Races, featuring the fastest motorsports anywhere in the world. This will also be available on Nov. 18.


The Master Chief will return on Dec. 8 with Halo Infinite. This is the Halo that we had in our minds 20 years ago and it's finally here in the biggest Halo game ever created. Halo Infinite will be available through Game Pass when it launches across Xbox One, Xbox Series X Game Pass Ultimate members will also receive monthly multiplayer rewards as part of the Perks program.


Our teams have also been expanding the games you love. You have explored Minecraft: Caves & Cliffs Part 1 and Sea of Thieves; A Pirate's Life, Sea of Thieves, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Homecoming, Grounded Hot and Hazy, Halo: The Master Chief Season 8 and many more in the last few months. We are incredibly grateful that these worlds will continue to be played in by millions of players.



The Xbox community has turned gaming into a place for joy, inspiration and education over the past two decades. Games help build bonds and strengthen connections between family and friends and provide people with new ways to connect.
